Jimmy Choo Illicit opens with a little spicy kick from the ginger and bitter orange, but I especially love the smell once it settles. The honey, caramel and vanilla blend beautifully with the jasmine and warm woody notes without becoming too sugary. The lasting scent on my skin is definitely my favourite part - warm, smooth and slightly addictive.

Pretty disappointing! It claimed that the top note is ginger and bitter orange, but none of that is there. The middle note of jasmine sambac is there a bit, but vanilla and sandalwood from the bottom note overpower everything else. So it comes off as a generic, cheap perfume with a sweet scent and vanilla and powdery dry down. Short longevity on my skin. I got this mini bottle from NSRack.

This is a beautiful scent but the longevity is horrendous for a designer fragrance. It's been 2 hours and I can only faintly smell the scent if I sniff my clothing. It's a mostly sweet honey fragrance with a little bit of citrus. I get very little floral notes or ginger. It's an easy grab but I wish it lasted!
