I purchased two samples of Arizona because of the stunning notes and bottle alike caught my attention.

Arizona to me is an aquatic solar floral scent. It starts out lovely, light and sweet with the citrus, soft watery cactus flower and strawberry, but… when the florals enter, “Jasmine! You naughty girl!” She tries to steal the show. Both Jasmine and orange flowers profiles grow with such enormity that the fragrance becomes rather sickening sweet to me.

There's a deep woody base that unsuccessfully tries to rein it in and its sillage becomes quite large as well.

By the time Arizona begins to soften what's left is a watery, cloyingly sweet floral with lots of buoyant MUSK. It's at this point, (dry-down) I have the starts of a fragrance induced headache in my temples and forehead and my extra sample becomes a GWP.

Disappointed.
Time for a wash!

I love this. It is warm, sweet and creamy once the brighter notes fade but I also crave the opening notes. My husband also loves it which is rare so I bought a second backup bottle. It's definitely got beach vibes along the line of Sun di Gioa without being a dupe. I have and love both.

Normally I can't stand powdery perfumes, too cloying! But this is different, purchased a sample by happenstance and loved getting whiffs of it all day long! Might try again in cooler weather. One of exceedingly few perfumes that I would say you could wear year round. Might purchase a full bottle.
Oddly reminds me of Versace Dylan Purple even though they don't share notes?

I notice cactus flower more than any other notes. It's a really pleasant green scent to my nose. Layering with Desert Spirit seemed appropriate. They play well together.
