Pleasing take on woody violet. Strong fruity opening. The violet is peppery-fresh but perceptible and blends with the blueberry mandarin accord. Without looking at the notes, I initially assumed blackberry but it's brighter and more cheerful. I don't get much if any rose but there's some buttery sandalwood that goes in a salty-buttery popcorn direction.

I purchased this a while back before I really started to learn which notes worked for me. I finally found that purple florals are not my friend, so this sat on the shelf for a while. However, the weather is starting to warm up and I decided to finally pull this out. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! It's very pretty, and not cloying at all! This is a great spring and summer scent that isn't heavy.
