I agree with the reviewer below that this does smell like there's patchouli in the base, but it's not strong enough to put me off (even though I really don't enjoy fruitchoulis!). Something about the dominant vanilla makes this one feel fancy and cozy to me. I sear there is a pear note in here too... a rich plum and pear rather than plum and raspberry is what I'm sensing. Someone pointed out the similarity to Kayali Candy Rock Sugar and upon wearing it today, it feels like a relative to JPG La Belle but Untold Absolu doesn't contain the same harsh and tarry aroma chemicals, so it's much more wearable to me!

GREAT cheapie! This perfume is gorgeous. It's warm, amber-y and resinous with sparkly fruity overtones. It's not dense, heavy or nauseating, which is such a feat considering the notes. Untold absolu has a slight vintage and mature vibe that gives a feel of luxury. It has a classy feel to it. Easy to wear and easy to love. *chefs kiss* I'm thrilled that this was re-released! I even love the minimalistic design of the new bottle.
