An oriental floral fragrance launched by Al Haramain in 2019, Al Haramain Junoon Rose is a feminine perfume that is at once bright, warm and sweet. It opens with fruity top notes of bergamot, cherry blossom and ylang-ylang. The heart combines floral notes of rose and heliotrope with amaretto and a blend of powdery notes.

This time, I’m really glad I trusted the reviews! 😍 A very elegant, powdery and sophisticated fragrance that reminds me quite a lot of Blossom Love by Amouage. If, like me, you love the Amouage style but don’t want to spend too much, I definitely recommend giving this one a try. I liked it so much that I think I’m going to buy a backup bottle… 😄

This perfume has been one that I have been on the fence about-- sometimes I really like this scent and others times no so much-- I have come to realize that for me, this is a perfume I have to be in the mood for to wear-- Sunday brunch, a daytime spring wedding, a day at the park on a cool fall day--- otherwise it makes me feel stuffy and "too done up". I noticed several comments about the juice being red in color-- my sprayer was broken, so I decanted it into another glass bottle and my juice is a pale blonde so not sure if that is because I have had it now for a few years??

Upon spray, I get a dry, dusty rose that feels more chemical than floral. It leans into a powdery, synthetic rose‑amber accord that reads almost chalky bitter. The base has a slightly plasticky, chemical warmth rather than vanilla creaminess, and the whole structure feels dry, dusty, and artificial.

This is easily in my top five perfumes. I also have Blossom Love, and the two are very similar in the soft, powdery, romantic vibe they give. It’s the kind of scent that feels elegant but still easy to wear every day. The floral sweetness is beautiful without being overwhelming, which makes me reach for it often. Definitely a favorite for life.
