From the United Arab Emirates brand Al Haramain comes Cuir de Orientica, a unisex fragrance with woody, balsamic, citrus, spicy and floral accords. This blend opens with pepper and mandarin orange for a bright, bitter, sweet and spicy introduction. The opening is followed by a heart with iris, violet and styrax - two soft and powdery floral notes with green nuances matched with a sweet and resinous balsamic note.

Very impressive! It starts off a little harsh with dry leather and black pepper but then the mandarin pops out and the combined with the leather it's just a great sexy confident scent. Probably more masculine but I just love it on me. The outer box has some gross rubber-y texture. That's probably the only downside I find here.

Just received a full bottle, definitely a Creed Aventus clone or twist, like a smokey batch of Aventus, nothing like Moroccan Leather. This may be a production oddity of Orientica like when they originally released the first Amber Oud they would put a different juice in the bottle for different regions. Like some countries it would smell like Interlude Man or TF Tobacco Vanille or Oud Wood, even a Sospiro Ensemble, all frags that smell nothing alike. Then they released the flankers and kinda fixed the issue keeping them as separate frags. The listed notes here seem wrong, I don’t get any iris, violet, or styrax. Leather, pepper, cedar and orange kinda make sense for an Aventus twist but this is very smokey/birch heavy. This lacks the freshness and ambroxan of the original, a darker twist. It’s very good and lasts well past 12 hours on skin and I could still smell it after a long shower the next day. Projection is on the mild side of average, but you could just do a few extra sprays probably.
